The Ridge shopping center in Oakland
Completed in 2017, The Ridge shopping center in Oakland features an early design by PLAT Studio. Drawing from the site's history as a quarry, the design utilizes granite and California native trees and plants. When we visited the site this spring, the Ceanothus was blooming and covered in native bees.
